Moon & Goddesses – Capricorn New Moon – Lady Sovereignty: Portland, OR
January 3 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PST
Honoring the New Moon through myth and astrology.
The Moon’s story is our human story. Each month, the Sun and Moon come together in the sacred marriage. They come together in one of the 12 signs of the zodiac, thus planting a new seed for co-creation and manifestation.
During the New Moon of each month, we will gather to explore the themes that are coming into being through the marriage of the Sun & Moon through a particular goddess.
Each monthly meeting is about weaving myth, lunar wisdom and astrology to help us connect with the cosmic rhythm.
For the Capricorn New Moon, we will be exploring the myths around Lady Sovereignty from Celtic Mythology.
How does she show up in our lives? Is she the young maiden, or the hag that begs for a kiss? Why was her role so essential and how it came to be diminished?
This will help us see some of the key elements of Capricorn and this New Moon in a different light and help us tap more deeply into the wisdom of this sign. Plus sovereignty is deeply linked to mastery and personal authority, something that Capricorn has much to teach us.
