Personal training takes place under the supervision of a certified personal trainer, expected to have a varying degree of knowledge in general fitness, exercise prescription and instruction. The trainer will work to motivate you by setting goals, providing feedback and accountability.
Trainers not only measure your strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments and measure your improvements in physical fitness, they work with the whole system-inner and outer body, mind and spirit.
A holistic personal trainer will often times also educate and help support you in many different areas of wellness, other than exercise.
