A hands on and guided method let by a Certified Yoga Therapist to help empower you towards improved health and well being through Yoga teachings and practices. Therapy may include yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to improve mental and physical health.

Yoga Therapists must have a certain number of hours of Yoga Teacher Training, plus anatomy, philosophy, asana, pranayama, mentoring, experience and CEU’s to stay certified.

Each session or series of sessions are a tailored one-on-one experience. The method can be deep, very gentle, or a bit of both. The therapist empowers you to find what works for you, while assisting and supporting as long as needed. Usually done in a series of sessions for lasting results.

The treatment goal is to jump-start your own healing process, giving you the tools to work on your own. For some, doing both a home practice and having a set of scheduled ‘deeper’ sessions with a Therapist is the best choice. For others, it’s a matter of doing a series or a few series of sessions then developing a home practice that works within their schedules and needs.
