I frequently get asked what exactly do I do and how am I different from an MD. I also have long-time patients say, “I didn’t know you did that!”.

So, this blog is all about me – and what I can do for you!

The Basics

An office visit looks just like one you might have with an MD. I will take your temperature and blood pressure. I may give you a physical exam. I can order blood work or other labs as needed. I can perform work physicals, work physicals and women’s annual exams. In addition, I can prescribe both natural supplements such as Herbs or Vitamins and prescription medications such as Penicillin or Armour Thyroid.

Do You Treat What I Have?

My services range from helping you stay healthy long term to helping with acute and chronic illnesses:
– Cold and flu
– Seasonal allergies
– Chronic conditions
– Diabetes
– High blood pressure
– High cholesterol
– Autoimmune diseases
– Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
– Rheumatoid Arthritis

So, What’s Different?

The difference is the time I take to find out all about you – what’s really causing your symptoms and how I can help. I will typically spend about one hour on the first visit to really get to know you and learn about your health concerns and goals. With that information, I will create a short-term and long-term plan, customized to your needs.

Follow-up visits are about 30 minutes long. We will review how well you are doing, talk about any new symptoms or concerns, and update your treatment plan as necessary. Follow-ups can be in the office or via telemedicine, depending on your unique situation.

What Treatments Do You Use?

I will select from a variety of treatments:
– Nutrition
– Exercise
– Homeopathy
– Dietary Supplements
– Prescription Medications
– Physical Medicine, including Microcurrent and Regenerative Medicine.

All treatments are selected with you in mind. And I will customize and adjust your treatments to help ensure your success.

Bottom Line

It’s about you and your health!
